🏛️ State License Law 📍 Illinois

📖 What you need to know

Real estate licensing in Illinois is governed by the Real Estate License Act of 2000 and administered by the IDFPR Division of Real Estate. Since 2011 Illinois eliminated the salesperson tier, so the entry-level license is the BROKER, which requires completing 75 hours of approved pre-license education before testing. A licensed Broker must work under and be supervised by a MANAGING BROKER, who is the supervisory license responsible for overseeing the office and its sponsored brokers.
