🏛️ State License Law 📍 New Jersey

📖 What you need to know

New Jersey licensees must advertise truthfully and identify the brokerage in their advertising so the public is not misled about who is offering the property. A salesperson advertises under the supervision and name of the sponsoring broker rather than independently, and blind ads that hide the broker's identity are not permitted. Brokers must keep accurate transaction and trust-account records available for inspection by the REC, and these records must demonstrate that client escrow funds were properly held and never commingled.
